Redding Competition Seating Die VLD Stem

Redding competition seater dies are shipped with a free-floating seater stem that works great for most common bullets. However, when loading VLD style bullets that have a much shorter ogive angle, the Redding VLD seater stem is a must have. The VLD seater stem has an increased internal contact angle combined with a smaller diameter to engage VLD bullets at a more effective position for outstanding precision. We have found that the VLD seater stem works extremely well on Hornady ELD-M and ELD-X bullets at preventing dents around the bullet after seating.
