The Giraud Power Brass Trimmer is a motorized case trimmer designed for high-volume bottleneck rifle cartridge processing. It indexes off the case shoulder for precise, consistent trimming and eliminates the need for manual adjustments. In a single operation, it trims to length, chamfers, and deburrs, reducing reloading time while ensuring uniform case prep. The Giraud Trimmer is powered by a fully enclosed, fan-cooled 1/8 HP motor. The cogged timing belt and pulley system provide a smooth, vibration-free operation, ensuring uniform trimming with every cycle.

To enhance safety and cleanliness, the Giraud Case Trimmer includes a retained, clear Lexan chip guard that prevents brass shavings from scattering while allowing you to monitor the trimming process. Unlike other trimmers that rely on cheap bronze bushings, the Giraud Power Case Trimmer is built with high-quality ball bearings, providing longer service life, smoother operation, and increased precision.

Precision Cutting and Versatility

Each Giraud Powered Case Trimmer is equipped with a Giraud carbide cutting blade, designed to produce a 15-degree inside chamfer and a 45-degree outside chamfer. This ensures burr-free, smooth VLD-style bullet seating, a critical factor for precision rifle reloaders.

The trimmer requires Giraud Case Holders, which are spring-loaded to prevent contact between the case and the rotating cutter blade. One Giraud Case Holder is included with each unit, and additional holders can be purchased separately for different calibres.

For added versatility, interchangeable cutting heads are available, allowing reloaders to pre-set case dimensions for different cartridges. This eliminates constant adjustments when switching between calibres, further streamlining the reloading process. The trimmer can also accommodate 50 BMG cases with a specialized cutting blade and mounting head.
